A global medical device company in Illinois has a fantastic opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer will be involved in a project with infusion pumps. This is a 12 month contract opportunity that is paying $70.00 - $80.00 per hour.This market leading medical device company is searching for a Sr. Systems Engineer to be responsible for creating, designing, and developing new features for this medical device. The Engineer will be responsible for:
- Provide content to the Design Input Document
- Be involved in medical risk management
- Contribute to complaint investigation
- Participate in device remediation
- Maintain Requirements Management Plan document
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Bachelors in Electrical or Software Engineering, M.S. Preferred
- 5 + years experience in System Engineering or related field
- 5 + years experience in Medical Device
- Experience with electrical or electro-mechanical devices a plus
