My top financial client in New York City is looking to bring on an experienced C# .Net developer to join their Mortgage Trading team to assist in the production of Risk and PnL. See below for more information:Responsibilities:
Be part of a fast-paced, reactive development team who follow the Agile methodology. Should be the developer for extending an existing system to handle PnL explain and Attribution, including all the feeds that come into the system as well as any outgoing feeds. Participate in other activities for tactical and strategic solution delivery to the MBS desk, in New York and globally. Participate in regular promotions of development code through User Acceptance Testing to production. Get involved in analyzing and solving production related incidents that may arise from time to time.
Qualifications:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Familiarity with Mortgage Trading, Pricing, and Risk Management concepts with special emphasis on the management of Mortgage data available through eMBS, Intex, Bloomberg and other sources.
* Familiarity with the Yield-book Risk platform and its xml interface.
* Excellent knowledge of .NET and C#.
* Excellent knowledge of the XML format and the various ways in which it can be handled in C# and other languages including the Databases like SQL Server.
* Experience in the full software development life-cycle.
* Good DB skills
* Proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude
* Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
* Candidates must be excellent analytical problem solvers
* 3 years of c# development and support
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on delivery
LOCATION: Midtown Manhattan DURATION: 9+ Months RATE: $500-$700/day w2 or c2c
