Description
A leading IT consulting company is seeking the services of a team-oriented Senior Citrix Engineer. Based out of the Parramatta office, you will be a part of a highly challenging, yet rewarding environment that fosters career growth. Your team will be working on the current bleeding edge cloud solutions from the Public, Private and Desktop Cloud offerings. You should be enthusiastic about embracing multiple technologies, whilst utilising excellent communication skills to mentor others and grow/train on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Server Operations Maintenance
- Close all assigned incidents and problems within SLA's and KPI's.
- Raise and complete changes within bounds of 99.8% success SLA.
- Work on capacity and performance related issues.
- Provide on-call support as per the defined on-call roster.
- Ensure that server alerts are relevant, and actioned within SLA and KPI.
- Provide cross-team support with other Intel/cloud teams.
2) Security Management
- Implement all security compliance implementation tasks - as advised by your Team Leader or Line Manager.
- Adhere to and ensure full compliance with our workplace security policy.
- Assist with emergency anti-virus measures as notified from time to time by your Line Manager.
3) Projects
- Provide after-hours/on-call/on-site support as required - roster will be communicated via Team Leader.
- Assist with project tasks and specific BAU implementation activities, as requested by your Line Manager. This may include a secondment to projects for a defined period of time.
- Assist with cross-platform and cross-account support from time to time; work sharing across different accounts.
Key Requirements:
You should possess an overall 10+ years of experience. You should have working knowledge on any three of the below technologies.
- System Administration(Intel); Experience NAS Storage Technology.
- Backup and recovery; Virtualisation optimisation
- Networking concepts and technologies (IP, Routing, DNS, Network Tracing, Firewall)
- Tivoli Products(TADDM,TSM, Tivoli endpoint).
- XenDesktop, XenServer, Provisioning Server.
- Patching tools as TEM,Windows Update,TSCM, Blade Logic.
- SYSTRACK (Desired); Netscaler.
