The Application Enabling Services EAI team manages and supports the midrange development and test environments. The team supports the installation, upgrade and day-to-day troubleshooting of the IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker Products used to support the work of the department.

They require the services of 2 EAI Technical Specialists for:

  • Formulating and delivery of architectural directions and components
  • Delivery of new EAI solutions/interfaces, involving full development life cycle
  • Enhancement, Maintenance, and Support of existing EAI solutions
  • Provision of production support for EAI solutions
  • Engagement in design and configuration of EAI associated infrastructure

Our client is interested in receiving applications from both INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED candidates.

Skills/experience for INTERMEDIATE applicants:

  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated practical experience with EAI products including WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, in the end-to-end delivery of business integration solutions.
  • Good understanding of architectural fundamentals in relation to abovementioned solutions in multiplatform distributed environments, and related MQ and Broker infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of EAI/Integration patterns, and demonstrated experience in their effective application in delivering IT solutions to support business outcomes.
  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with associated technologies such as ESQL, XML, SOAP, XSLT.
  • Good understanding in building complex solutions which integrate with Mainframe based applications using CICS, Cobol, Telon, Cool:Gen, DB2, JCL, RACF, and use of associated Mainframe tools such as ISPF, File-Aid, SPUFI.

Skills/experience for ADVANCED applicants:
