An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Data Modeller's for a 6 month assignment. The successful candidate will come with specific experience in HR and Payroll systems.

Duties of the role:

You will be required to conduct data quality assessments from source systems and produce reports on completness.

Provide guidance and advice in identifying data cleansing requirements, conducting data quality assessments, and providing timely advice to resolve any data issues in consultation with the business and Queensland Shared Services (QSS)

Contribute to the development of data extract routines from Legacy systems to a local database/data-store to undertake data quality assessments and provide reports that inform the resolution path

Provide technical guidance and advice to resolving system defects in Legacy systems perceived to cause data errors

Provide guidance and advice in data quality assessment reporting tools

Contribute to reporting of incomplete or inaccurate data sets for resolution in source systems

Assist in the development of data strategies, plans and specialist products to be delivered by the data management team.

Please apply if you meet the following requirements:-

A strong background across data models for HR and Payroll systems.

Extensive experience across load data, source data, data cleansing and data integrity activities.

Must be able to maintain and improve data extract routines to ensure integrity of data for future migration activities.

Strong ability to consult with key stakeholders and develop presentations in Microsoft power-point format.

Strong ability to determine the current state of the data quality, accuracy and currency, maintaining the Data Cleansing Strategy & implementing data preparation activities as appropriate.

Evaluate and report on inconsistent data and cleanse said data in a timely manner as appropriate.

Technical understanding and experience of master data migration and integration to future state target systems.

Extensive experience in source system analysis (data definitions), Datamodelling, data profiling and data quality rule generation.

Maintaining procedures for monitoring and reporting on progress.

Introduce (as appropriate) and utilise data migration tools to automate controls and verification procedures.

Coach and mentor other members of the program in best-practice data cleansing and data migration activities.

Any experience in data cleansing and migration in Lattice HR & Payroll systems will be highly regarded.
