Our client currently requires the services of a Senior Project Officer responsible for contributing to the deliverables of the online project with extensive experience within a System Development/Web/Portal Project or Business Project role.
The Senior Project Officer will have a demonstrated understanding of the full Systems Development Life Cycle, including testing, release and deployment in combination with strong Project Management concepts and a good working knowledge MS Project and MS Office suite.
- Uses tools and techniques to help manage project deliverables (eg:MS Project, MS Office suite, MS Visio, TRIM, etc.)
- Providing support to a Implementation Manager, IT Project Manager and Business Transition Team Leader in day-to-day project-based activities and tasks
- Supports and assists to identify project tasks, activities and dependencies
- Provides ideas and suggestions on definition of tasks, task sequencing and linking and duration of effort
- Uses tools and techniques to manage project scheduling tasks and project time management ( MS Project)
- Assists to identify project stakeholders who have or need information
- Provides ideas on how information requirements for project stakeholders can be met
- Assist the project team to identify potential and known risks, issues and dependencies for the project
- Undertakes approved risk management mitigation tactics under direction
- Manages information and reporting tools designed for recording and reporting risks, issues, change and dependencies
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS who are able to obtain a security clearance.
