* VAT Liaison Officer - Edinburgh - 3 months (initial contract).*
We have a fantastic opportunity for Assistant VAT Liaison Officer for an initial 3 months contract based in Edinburgh. This contract will start mid August
Candidates will be expected to have a sound technical VAT knowledge to join an existing team.
The successful candidate will have the ability to consider a variety of interesting projects, apply the relevant VAT rules and regulations to determine the appropriate VAT treatment, liaising with HMRC as necessary.
Essential skills -
- A part qualified accountant
- Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and HMRC rules/regulations.
Desirable skills -
- Knowledge of Central Government
