Description
A Senior Risk Manager is required by Governement to provide an effective second line of defence through challenge in respect of risk management activities, internally and with contractors, for business as usual and Programme activities, including programme risk management. The key deliverables are Risk management framework and processes covering both corporate and programme related risk Provision of risk reporting to Board, SMT and Change Forum Quantification of the organisations risk appetite Delivery of risk management awareness training and supporting embedding of risk management arrangements
Skills Required
Essential Skills: Demonstrable experience of delivering in a senior Risk Management role within a complex change environment; Experience of working with Boards, Directors and senior stakeholders within a risk management role providing advice, support and appropriate challenge; Understanding of programme and project risk; Government experience and detailed knowledge of HMT guidance on risk management and the workings of Public Accounts Committee.
Desirable Skills: Project and programme management; Delivery of training and development in relation to risk management.
