Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for an RF Engineer to support business development activities. Several new possible markets for RF power devices are being investigated and ongoing development activities need technical support.PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
-We are seeking a candidate to support our business development activities;
-You will contribute in developing and assembling proto-type RF-energy systems for new customers. RF-energy proto-type systems consist of (RF) hardware and software (firmware/ GUI/Labview)
-You will be responsible to maintain and improve the RF-Energy lab; define and build test set-ups` to support the team. Automation of calibration and characterisation tests will be part of the improvement.
-You will be required to have electrical background; with additional electronic and electro-mechanical hands-on experience, together with software and GUI experience
-You will be part of a larger design team working on the development of application prototypes and reference designs. As such, they will be exposed to all aspects and elements of system design; and design processes.
-The successful candidate will experience working within a dynamic, customer focused development and marketing organisation - and power - of a multinational company; you will also be expected to contribute to the overall design.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to create proto-type systems and will define and execute tests and calibrations. Introduction to the customer could also be one of the possibilities.
-Electrical Engineering
-Software/ Labview / Systems architecture background.
-English speaking, reading and writing.
-RF knowledge.
