Description
Our client, an International Renewable Energy company focussing on the Offshore Wind Energy Sector, is looking for a WTG Commissioning Team Leader to join their project in Bremerhaven with some offshore rotations. In this role the WTG Commissioning Engineer will report the Team Leader, who will report to Commissioning Coordinator and Strategy & Implementation Manager. The general responsibilities include:- Preplanning and detailing of the WTG commissioning process
- Daily work planning and instruction of the WTG commissioning engineers
- Team leader for the WTG commissioning engineers incl. all associated tasks
- Central contact to the Site Team Leaders of supplier
- Internal communication of all relevant aspects of the WTG commissioning tasks (HSE, technical, staff, supplier) to the commissioning lead team
- Performance of training to scope of WTG equipment
Main Duties /Tasks
- Daily planning, coordination, performance control and documentation of necessary WTG commissioning work
- Daily alignment of commissioning tasks with the other external team leaders, internal Team Leaders (OSS-, HV -MV- Equipment-, Scada commissioning) and Commissioning Coordinator - Interface communication for details of practical works
- Detection and tracking of technical problems and snag points (list of open points) for the WTG equipment
- Evaluation, discussion with contractor`s Site Team Leader to technical problems, open points during WTG commissioning works (e.g. snag list) - fixing of concrete practical measures
- Performance of team leading functions (work planning, daily instruction, disciplinary aspects, trainings, plannsubsidiarycies & subsidary)
- Coordination and registration of logistical requests for WTG commissioning works with Commissioning coordinator / Marine coordinator
- Performance of practical commissioning works as e.g. participation at acceptance tests
- Report and analyse HSE&S, Quality and schedule matter regarding the WTG scope of work
Main Deliverables
- Document readiness report in accordance to regulations
- Daily report of WTG commissioning work results to Commissioning Coordinator
- Supply of Team Leader obligations (e.g. reporting of all relevant facts)
- Knowledge transfer into operations
Authority:
- Authority to prohibit commissioning works at the WTG depending on safety situation
- Authority to instruct the WTG commissioning engineers
- Authority to request relevant information from the suppliers site staff and commissioning lead team
- No authority to sign contracts or to represent the project in public relations
Qualifications:
- According to the specific function requirements
- Fluent in German and English
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineer. Or other technical background with proven experience with electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Project Management experience
- Commissioning experience related to e.g. power plants, manufacturing site, infrastructure.
