Description
We are currently looking for a Web Developer (HTML / CSS) to work on a Federal Government Project based in Sydney CBD. This is a long term contract and an excellent opportunity to secure a long term daily contract rate for the next 12- 18 months. You must have Baseline Security Clearance to apply for this role. You will be participating actively in software design discussions and writing code that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns. You will also be diagnosing performance bottlenecks and implementing optimisations.
Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
- Should have worked in designing and creating mid to large systems
- Excellent analytical skills and creativity in proposing multiple options/solutions to a requirement, and select the best based on various priorities like time for development, usability, maintainability, etc
- Good understanding of software technologies and methodologies, especially any forms of Agile
- Good understanding of object-oriented approaches to software development
- C / Oracle / MQ
- HTML / CSS / jQuery
- Graphic / Web Design / JS

The Project:
This is a GreenFields Travel Systems and Travel BPO Implementation Project for multiple Government Clients in NSW. CITI Recruitment was selected to present face-face with the end client last month so we have a unique understanding of the roles and responsibilities above and beyond similar suppliers.
