I am interested in making some adjustments to a theme I purchased. The Theme can be found here: http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/ilaria-wordpress-theme/. I just wanted to tighten up the navigation for the dynamic portfolio page which will be my home page. I am limited in time and budget so I came up with two options. I can provide PSD comps of both. I believe the second one would be more involved.Option 1) I would like to move the category filter up into the header underneath the main navigation. Not sure if separating this code into a different PHP file will make a difference. I will also get read of the PAge title so the portfolio sits nestled against the header
Option 2) Currently there is no sidebar on the portfolio page and I would like to add one. I would also like to move the portfolio categories which act as a dynamic filter to a widget in the sidebar. In this option I would remove the header and only have a sidebar for navigation. The Portfolio is styled with inline blocks so one would have to be familiar with this css command. I was having trouble floating the sidebar to the left and shrinking the infline blocks, but I have no idea what I am doing other than a day’s worth of research on the net!
