An exceptional Medical Device company in Northern Illinois has an opportunity for a Senior SolidWorks Design Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. This position is very likely to extend and could convert to permanent in the future. The rate is between $70 and $90 per hour.My premier client is currently seeking a strong SolidWorks design engineer to undertake an advanced project to design highly specialized plastics parts for its market leading Infusion Pump Devices. The project will be undertaken using SolidWorks and an advanced knowledge of this product is a must in order to meet the demands on the project. The Senior Design Engineer will be immersed in the design stage of bringing a new product to market as well as updated existing on-market products to bring up to current FDA standards.

Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors or higher within one of the following, or related, fields: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years Medical Device Engineering experience
- Proven track record within device design
- Advanced SolidWorks skills and experience
