Description
A fantastic opportunity has become available in a top tier Investment Bank who requires a technical architect to work within Finance IT (Regulatory and Product Control) on a major upcoming project.This architect will be responsible for the implementation of a project to move away from an Oracle/SQL Server/Java/Cognos system over to a big data solution.
This position requires that candidates must have a strong Investment Banking working within Finance IT for a number of years.
Must have a strong background in the following areas:
- Technical architecture
- Service Orientated Architecture
- Oracle and SQL Server
- Unix
- Java / J2EE
- Cognos
- FTML
- Experience in the implementation of Big data solutions. (Hadoop etc)
- Excellent Investment Banking background
