IT Transition Leader, UNIX, Oracle, Apache

Connect 44 are currently recruiting an IT Transition Leader to work for a prestigious telecoms firm in Paris, France.

The correct candidate will be an EU Passport Holder with a solid IT Management work history.

This is a contract role on a 3 month renewable basis on a long term project.

Job Spec:

Candidate must be able:

To -To drive meetings and gather requested information,

- Begin & end the meeting on time,

- Encourage discussion, asking good questions to identify application potential points to pay attention to,

- Write down meeting minutes,

-To analyze current application by studying some high level architecture schema,

-To identify and do some modelling on how data flows interact between application Servers and

the whole information system,

To - To write-down process migration steps to secure change and ensure that deadlines are

respected with established scenarii.

Competencies :

Languages : English fluent (mandatory),

Project management :

- Lead application change from start to finish,

- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities internally or

to subcontrators,

- Manages day-to-day operational task within project scope withsubcontractors,

-Track progress change activity and report issues, sum up weekly key points

Technical skills (candidate must have a broad of range of intermediate key technical

knowledge) :

- Operating system Windows/Unix-Linux,

- Networking, Firewall, Load Balancing technologies, DNS, proxies,

- Database : Oracle/SQL,

- Virtualization,

Web content delivery applications (IIS ; Apache)
