Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as part of the IT Banking Applications team in architecting and implementing next generation banking system solutions
  • Provide daily administration of the core banking application, Back Office, and related systems.
  • Provide MUMPS (GT.M) database administration for all core banking production, DR, QA, and development environments.
  • Monitor and proactively support capacity planning and analysis using Foglight (Quest) and IONIX
  • Develop monitoring and automation scripts using UNIX Shell or Perl
  • Maintain and periodically test Disaster Recovery solutions as needed or required by IT Management
  • Understanding of all IT best practices, including Agile methodolgoes
  • Independently identify and address documentation needs
  • Develop application administration standards and procedures to maintain consistent practices across the team

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or related experience
  • 2-3 years experience working with a financial/banking application
  • Knowledge of UNIX platforms and/or related environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • 5+ years experience working with a financial/banking application
  • 5+ years experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms and working knowledge of UNIX environments
  • 2-3 years experience developing UNIX Shell (ksh) or Perl scripts
  • 2-3 years experience in a production support role
  • Working knowledge of the Profile/Anyware application or MUMPS (GT.M) database
  • 2-3 years Database Administration
  • Formal knowledge and practice of the Quality Process and Project Management philosophies and principles
