A global medical device company in Illinois is searching for a Senior Solidworks Design Engineer for a 6 month contract opportunity that is more than likely to be extended or turn into a full time position. This opportunity is paying $65.00 - $75.00 per hour.This market leading medical device company is looking for a Solidworks design engineer to be responsible for designing parts for an infusion pump. The engineer will be involved in bringing new products to the market as well as updating existing products to FDA guidelines.
Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors or higher within one of the following, or related, fields: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years Medical Device Engineering experience
- Proven track record within device design
- Advanced SolidWorks skills and experience
