Computer Futures are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to be a member of the Service Operations Team for a key client based in Bristol. Providing the capability necessary to deliver quality technical support. Be part of the resource pool for Professional Service engagements, problem management, and support continual service improvement.

Service Transition activity:
* Support the Service Transition team on the introduction of Change
* Service Operations activity:
* Delivering and supporting services to ensure value for our customers, the users and Applicable
* Technical Support Engineer (the technology stack as guided by your Team Lead) resolving incidents, fulfilling requests and reacting to events
* Scheduled Operations activity such as housekeeping and reporting
* Technical Account Manager
* Raise operating risks to your Team Lead

A member of the resource pool to perform:
* Project ownership (own simple projects: PID, planning and forecasting, design, scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, change, stakeholder management)
* Problem management
* Executing technical tasks within projects
* CSIP improvement initiatives
* Other duties as directed by your manager from time to time
* Participate in the shift rota and the on-call rota

Essential
* Strong technical support / engineering background with a primary focus on Messaging, supported by Exchange and Management, supported by System Centre
* 4 years + Enterprise Microsoft Exchange ), which should include Exchange clustering, recovery, build and design
* Microsoft MCSE/MCT certification (2003 and/or 2008)
* Demonstrable advanced Windows server support experience
* Demonstrable Active Directory experience within multiple forests and/or multiple domains environments
* Web Hosting/IIS experience
* BES support experience
* System Centre 2012 suite
* Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills and experience
* Excellent customer service and customer facing skills
* Good communication, presentation and organisational skills
* A willingness to cross-skill in different technologies and platforms
* Demonstrable commitment to the company Values and to realising the company vision
* Demonstrable service culture focus
* Evidence of certifications relevant to the companies chosen market
* Creative and with the courage to act with integrity
* Ability to prepare quality written correspondence, and internal and external-facing documentation
* Experience in supporting successful projects

Desirable
* Previous experience in an IT Outsourcing / Service Provider / Private cloud environments
* Experience in desktop and application deployment
* Microsoft SharePoint experience (infrastructure)
* Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager (MOM/SCOM) experience
* Powershell / VB scripting
* Email Content Management systems, eg MailMarshal, MIMESweeper, SurfControl
* Virtualisation (VMware ESX, Hyper-V)
* WebSense Web Security Products
* Good Technologies
* Quest coexistence manager and migrator for Lotus Notes Domino
* Good external-facing and presentation skills

The salary for this role is paying between £35 - £45,000 depending on experience and offers Pension , health care and on call allowance. If you feel fit for this role please respond ASAP with your most up to date CV.
