My client is looking for an experienced software development manager to join a rapidly expanding start up company who have spanned their operations worldwide in the past few years.

Throughout this period of growth, this company have prized themselves on their reputation and have aimed to set the pace within a diverse market segment by developing a favourable work environment embedded around Innovation, Problem solving and collaboration.

They are now looking to bring in a development manager looking for an opportunity to really make a difference and offer fresh ideas in a changing environment.

To be successful in this role you should posess the following skills:
  • Java
  • Web-services (SOAP & Restful)
  • Cloud (AWS)
  • Tomcat /Jenkins
  • Hibernate
  • Maven
  • Exposure to agile methodologies ( Scrum/TDD )
  • NoSQL


As well as utilising your strong technical skills you will be managing a team of developers to assist within the design and development of web-based applications in a highly transactional environment. With this in mind you should be a team player and thrive from natural autonomy as Further responsibilities will include participating in Scrum meetings and working alongside analysts, QA's and product owners.
