Description
This public sector body based in West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a front-end Java Developer to join their growing development team on a contract basis, initially for a 6 month contract.Due to upcoming web projects and releases, they need to bring a skilled front-end developer to work on their customer-focused website.
The successful candidate will potentially have the opportunity to manage less experienced developers on the projects.
You need to be an experienced developer with the following skill sets:
- 3+ years Java/J2EE
- JavaScript
- JQuery
- XHtml
- HTML5
- CSS
- Relevant web development experience
Highly desirable:
- Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
The ideal candidate will work well under tight deadlines and have previous experience working on forward-thinking web presence projects.
This is a 6 month contract (with the potential to extend) paying between £250 to £325 per day depending upon experience.
