A leading investment management firm seeks to attract a Fixed Income Pricing Specialist for the design and implementation of data quality controls to identify incorrect data, with particular emphasis on OTC and Fixed Income instruments.
Responsibilities:
*Identify, gather and document data, reporting and business requirements for data management
*Design, build and review automated spreadsheet/database applications for data controls
*Follow up with different data or process providers to ensure underlying data is correct
Data considered:
*Positions and analytics at any date for all covered funds
*Performance of funds compared to custodian valuations
Qualifications and Experience:
*Knowledge of instrument pricing (OTC, cash bonds)
*Understanding of bond analytics
*Excellent attention to detail
*Systems proficient including advanced EXCEL (pivot, macros, vlook ups)
*3+ years Fixed Income Operations essential
*Date mining/reconciliation experience
*Mathematics/Finance background ideal
