Description
A Senior Engineer is urgently required to lead and control the mechanical design aspects of an aircraft modification project through to successful certification.
The main skills required by the client are:
Experience within a senior or lead design role in the aerospace industry.
Design experience in the aerospace industry working on aircraft modifications using a recognised CAD System (Catia/Unigraphics/AutoCAD/SolidEdge/SolidWorks)
Ideally, an expert understanding of design for external aircraft modifications such as fuel or weapons pods or nacelles.
An understanding of current civil aerospace certification requirements, particularly EASA Part 21 subpart J, would be desirable but not essential.
This will be an initial 3 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
