Description
Leading International consultancy requires an experienced Webmethods Developer, with a minimum of 5+ years strong experience of SOA and EAI development in a large ESB environment built on webMethods product suite (webMethods version 8.x Integration server, webMethods Designer, MyWebMethods, webMethods Broker, BPM, JMS.
- Experience in implementing mission critical and complex integrations solutions including Real Time and batch integrations.
- Experience with a comprehensive agile SDLC that includes business process mapping, requirements
definition, functional specification, high level design, detailed level design, functional test support,
workflow test support, user acceptance test support, system deployment and production support. - Strong understanding of integration architecture and coding patterns.
- Knowledge and Experience of SOAP/REST Web Services, HTTP/HTTPS, Java/J2EE, XML/XSD's, UML, JMS and standard development methodology (ie Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.).
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions utilizing WebMethods BPM.
- Extensive experience in developing solutions utilizing Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and good understanding of SOA life cycle.
The main purpose of the role is
- Develop integration solutions and prepare detailed/low level design specifications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing and prepare for deployment
- Support deployment of developed solutions in various test, UAT, and Production environments
- Participate in the technical design process with the Integration Architects on key integration projects
- Manage current webMethods integration environment, through planning and implementing webMethods software upgrades and fixes as appropriate.
- Recommend, develop and implement enhancements to existing EAI solutions.
- Assure business and technical architecture aligns with the customer's functional and non-functional requirements.
- Provide regular updates of project progress and outstanding issues.
- Plan and conduct structured code reviews to ensure standards and systems interoperability.
- Troubleshoot issues and initiate action to resolve the problem, analyze and resolve moderate to complex problems.
- Be available after hours as required for operational support.
- Contribute to project estimating efforts.
- Provide knowledge transfer to junior developers as needed.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
Innovate and provide recommendations for process improvements and best practice coding standards.
