My client, a top operator here in Houston is currently in immediate need of a Subsea Wells Engineer. Please see the following description and attach a CV if interested.

The principal role of the subsea wells team is to plan and execute the running of subsea production trees, tubing head spools, BOP adapters, associated tools, controls and ROV operations having to do with the wellhead interface, take delivery of manufactured equipment, prepare operational procedures, and provide offshore supervision and support. The subsea team also has an important supporting role in completion operations, during the preparation, running and operation of tubing hanger, subsea test tree, completion and work over riser.

Key Accountabilities:
* Coordination of rig site activity to ensure both delivery of safety, environmental performance and effective execution of the well plan.
* Define and oversee the work plan, participate and take a lead related to the onshore site, Rig / Vessel safety programs.
* Interface with D&C Wells Team to ensure goals are aligned and deliverables are ready when needed.
* Participating in well planning and pre-operation meetings to ensure past learning is captured and incorporated into well programs.
* Responsibility for accurate cost tracking, daily operational reporting, and material/personnel logistics.
* Actively seeking methods to improve operations
* Establish an excellent working relationship with all site personnel
* Maintaining communication with engineering staff and operations personnel
* Prepare installation procedures in sufficient detail to examine the potential risks and hazards involved during the installation activities.

Essential criteria & qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum of 10 years industry experience in an offshore capacity
2. Experience in supervising 3rd party equipment vendor personnel during Drilling and Completions operations
3. Experience with subsea equipment design, manufacturing and operations background.
4. An ability to work with experienced and motivated subsea Wells Operation teams.
5. Experience with offshore installation of subsea equipment (jumpers, trees and equivalent) from MODU's and construction vessels
6. A working knowledge of D&C work over riser operations, design requirements and long term maintenance and inspection requirements.
7. Experience with MODU operations to include capital drilling equipment interfaces and operation.

4. Well Control certified
5. 5 years offshore supervisory experience
