Swing (FX) Developer - Banking - London - Up to £650pdOur Client, a T1 investment bank, are currently looking for a Swing (FX) Developer to work in their London Office, on a long-term contract basis.
The successful candidate's tasks will be:
* Analyst Developer - work directly with business traders and Quantitative Analysts to define and agree changes and requirements.
* Design, implement and test (unit, component, system and back test) trading algorithms and pricing models, which will be deployed globally.
* Implement bug fixes, rapid changes.
* Implement and test changes to support low-latency performance (in a pragmatic way and as agreed with the Development Manager and the Trading desk).
* Work with Application Support teams and other stakeholders (e.g. QA/Testing) to own deliverables end to end to production.
* Ensure documentation.
The candidate is expected to have experience of:
* Java SWING
* Linux/Unix and Server Side an advantage.
* Proven team lead and delivery management of global and enterprise front office trading systems.
* Front Office trading desk preferably within Foreign Exchange.
* Operation of trading desks in a large, multi-site Investment Bank with significant eCommerce offering
* Foreign Exchange in a high volume low latency environment.
* Experience working on enterprise systems but also agile delivery of Quant and Business requirements.
Financial Experience and Excellent Communication Skills are Essential.
