The candidate will lead the management of change to work arrangements with the least disruption to normal business performance and service delivery under the overall direction of the Project Executive/Head of HR to ensure that their proposals fit with the overall strategic direction within the organisation. They will manage stakeholder expectations at all levels affected by the project, and prepare them for the changes they are about to experience.

In undertaking this role the candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of tact.

Essential Criteria:

*Organisational Change (re-structure) - ability to manage business change including significant organisational restructure.
*Restructuring life cycle - ability and experience in design to implementation from creating new role profiles to full engagement in implementing the new structures within organisational protocols.
*Job design - ability to Job Design & assess new roles through HAY Job Evaluation ensuring a more cohesive working culture is created.
*Complex Industrial Relations Climate - experience of working within a highly unionised environment with multiple unions.
*Organisational Re-engineering - experience in significant cultural, governance and structural change.
*Public Sector - experience of working within the public sector and bringing in private sector initiatives to this environment.
*Communications - ability to communicate effectively at all levels & appreciate all perspectives. To produce appropriate written communications, especially on sensitive issues, appropriate to the audience.
*Project Management - project management skills
*Decision Making - ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgement on issues within a sensitive industrial relation climate.
*Pro-active/self managing - strong people management skills working with and through others. Ability to work at senior management as well as operational levels.
*Shared Services retained environment - experience of working within a shared services environment and within the retained organisation structure.
*Employment Law/Employee Relations - In depth knowledge of UK employment law, significantly as it relates to organisational re-structuring.

*Member of the CIPD
