Excellent opportunity to work with a market leader, in an operational environment.

Fantastic prospect for a Safety Advisor with Subsea, Pipelines & Projects experience to join our Aberdeen based client.

Primarily Onshore role with visits to sites as required.

This is a contract requirement, working directly with an operator. Based on an initial 12 month contract, with view to extension.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provides specialist Operational Safety support for the assigned area of responsibility within Site Support team
*Acts as the interface between the Site Support team and assigned area of responsibility
*Ensures TEPUK specific procedures and documents required for safe operations and emergency response are prepared and maintained.
*Influences contractor safety performance through audits, incident investigations and ensuring that all identified actions are closed out.
*Acts as focal point for all queries on all safety subjects, liaising with the Core Contractors as and when required.

POTENTIAL CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS:
*Highly experienced in an operational safety role with a professional qualification in safety (minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent)
*Proven track record in the provision of specialist Safety support to the nominated area(s) - in this case, Subsea, Pipelines and Projects
*Experience in incident investigation and analysis using a systematic methodology
*Experience of carrying out audits of safety procedures (SIMOPS, permit etc)
*Experience writing procedures and Bridging documents.
*Offshore Survival Certificate plus MIST
*Offshore Medical Certificate
