Senior Android Developer for rapid prototyping

Project Description:
Prototyping (native language) on Android 4. Tablet and Smartphone (1 form factor each)
Tasks & Deliverables Responsible For:
Prototype development for tablet and smartphone for user testing (based on the selected 5 use cases - Android commented source code, APK binary files) the client will prototype 5 different use cases; 3 of them on one device (eg Tablet), supporting both Arabic and English languages; 2 of them on the other device (eg Smartphone) supporting only the English language. The purpose of the prototypes is to enable testability of the design during the user tests and to allow hands-on demonstration of design concept to stakeholders. Given the scope of the prototypes the client will define the fidelity of the code to be developed (simulation, low-FI prototype, hi-FI prototype). In any case we are not planning for re-usability/scalability of the prototypes source code. Software components can be installed on devices running Android Jelly Bean (version 4.1). The deliverables will support a display size of 1280x720 pixels, extra high density (smartphone) and 1280x800, medium density (tablet). One single reference device will be defined per each form-factor; eg Samsung Galaxy S3 for the smartphone form-factor, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 - 10'' for the tablet form-factor
Required Skill set or Knowledge:
3 years of experience AT LEAST developing native apps in Android. We are looking for people who have proven track records with building apps for android that have been successfully delivered to the Play store.
Location and/or Travel Requirements:
Based in the Milan studio.
