We are looking for a UAT Test Analyst with detailed knowledge of Fixed Income. The role will be located in New York, but some travel to London may also be required and therefore flexibility to travel is necessary.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to conduct testing, particularly user acceptance testing (UAT) for a Fixed Income products. The Test Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing test scripts, conducting test execution and recording test results in line with the overall test strategy.
The Test Analyst will be responsible for the quality gateways and ensuring that all the testing phases are delivered successfully to time and budget. Reporting to the Test manager you will be responsible for all aspects of test Scripting, test execution and test reporting. You should have good verbal and written communication skills and be confident delivering testing updates to project managers and stakeholders.
You will be working as part of a major testing team, although it is anticipated the UAT team will comprise of no more than 5 testers. The UAT Test Analyst will act as an ambassador for testing and will help to roll out the importance of testing and the significance of quality gateways to all involved on the project helping to enforce them and ensure quality product is delivered.

These skills are considered essential for the role:
- ISEB/ISTQB qualified in software testing
- A Test Analyst with a proven background in delivering to time and budget
- Experience of working within an IB environment
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products
- Detailed UAT experience
- Experience creating test scripts, test execution and defect tracking.
- Experience working with end users to achieve UAT goals
