An interim Purchasing/Procurement Director, is required for a rapidly growing Pharma company to assimilate and manage two diverse team and develop and deliver the purchasing strategy across the organisation.

. Lead and manage team to deliver cost effective, timely, fully compliant materials and services to the total business through appropriate policies, systems, working practices and team competencies
. Develop sourcing strategies to support the sites AGILITY signature strength
. Implement policies, systems and working practices across user teams to de-liver reduced COG's,increased productivity and ensure compliance and continuity of supply.
. Provide metrics, KPI's, and reporting for key business decision making, budgeting and continuous improvement.
. Influence and contribute to Global policy, initiatives and projects.
. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a global network
. Experience of working within a global regulated framework of Sarbanes Oxley
. Implementation of systems (ERP,EDI,purchasing)
. Change management and project management skills
. Able to communicate,influence,negotiate, deal with conflict and resolve is-sues with a win win approach

The successful candidate will have
. background in Pharmaceutical or FMCG
. Previous SAP experience
. Contract negotiation for services and capex projects (Facilities and equipment)
