Description
We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer who is proficient in developing custom WordPress plugins and themes. The job entails both front end functionality and back end work.
In addition to proactive changes on current platform, maintenance type projects and updates to existing sites is also expected
This is a freelance position paid hourly with ongoing work between 15 and 25 hours per week. The work is remote.
Our ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and passionate about Wordpress. Especially important is to be respective of deadlines, responsive, reliable and forward looking.
Responsibilities- Must be aware about new WordPress technologies and frameworks
- Commit to 15 to 25 hours per week for indigo memoirs. Also be available in the longer term
- Finish projects on time
- A transparent and clear communicator
- Take the initiative to make worthy and up to date changes on the site
- Experience integrating third-party APIs into WordPress
- Proficient with WordPress Custom Post Types
- Writing custom WordPress plugins
- End-user experience oriented

Basic SEO knowledge
- PHP, MySQL, Javascript/jQuery development, HTML/CSS
- Degree in Computer science is a plus
- Standardized and best practice use of Wordpress
