POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Compensation Analyst for a 6 month assignment to assist with a new Human Resources/Payroll System implementation. Top candidates will have experience with Munis or have experience working in a K-12 public school system.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Maintains workflow spreadsheet; produces graphs based on data
- Documents step-by-step procedures for all compensation-related processes
- Assists with job evaluations; determines pay grades and FLSA status
- Assists with salary surveys, analyzes salary data, and prepares comprehensive reports
- Prepares job descriptions
- Audits departmental reports
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with job evaluations and job descriptions to determine pay grades
- Experience and knowledge of state and federal laws relating to employee compensation
- Experience with analysing data and preparing reports
- Experience with employee compensation operations of large employers; preferably Georgia school districts
- Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and oral communications skills; excellent computer software skills, such as MS Office Suite and Outlook; analytical skills; time-management skills; organizational skills
