Senior Network EngineerNorway
1 year contract
My client is a leading oil and gas company who urgently require a senior network engineer to join their existing team. They seek a pro-active individual, with experience in a hands-on network engineering role.
The role:
- Independently plan and execute activities under the combined scopes of Project Management and Network Group priorities.
- Independently suggest, review and modify network infrastructure design.
- Develop documents according to appropriate engineering standards for layout and level of detail and make presentations to management.
- Excellent experience with telecom solutions including LAN/WAN, fiber, line of sight transmission and cabling to other systems carried by network accordance to NORSOK standard, Telecom standard guidelines.
- Participation in meetings with sub-contractors and customers.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Telecom and Data networks with Cisco/Juniper experience.
- CCNP or CCIE level preferred.
- Experience from Detail Engineering and Modification Projects.
- Good understanding of Multi-Discipline Projects.
- 5-7 years experience in related projects.
