Content Manager with content management system experience - Banking - £170/day

A leading Retail Bank based in London is seeking a Content Manager with content management system experience to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work in a highly respected organisation.

To be effective the Content Manager will need to work well within a multidisciplinary team and be confident interpreting data and extracting useful information. After a thorough training period, the successful candidate will be expected to apply knowledge learnt from previous scenarios to current problems and continue to learn about the project and add value to the team.

Within the programme, the Content Managers are responsible for loading the content items required for the Internet Banking application, checking it in Preview environments and working through defects (code and content) to identify the solution to resolve.

  • Interpreting copy decks to determine content to be loaded
  • Working with other project deliverables to aid content load, eg test documentation such as User Journeys, UI Specifications
  • Working with copywriting team and other project disciplines (Business Analysts) to raise and close queries relating to content load
  • Managing and closing content related defects arising during test phases
  • Estimating time to complete content load tasks                        

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):

Skills/abilities

  • Using a wireframe, functional specification, and copy deck to understand what content needs to be loaded
  • Basic HTML at least
  • Content management systems (preferably TeamSite and WCM)
  • HP Quality Centre (or similar defect management tool)
  • MSOffice (excel, outlook etc.)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
  • To work on various tasks simultaneously
