IT Architect - Finance/Super/Wealth Management Experience
Aim of Position
Provide consulting, technical leadership, design and ongoing support to projects across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities
Design solutions in a manner that aligns to IT strategy and customer need
Consult and advise project teams and senior decision makers
Lead technical decision making and resolve conflicts
Communicate architectural decisions, plans and goals
Engage and collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities and solutions
Ensure alignment to documented Standards, Policies and Frameworks
Knowledge & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or Business related subject
Understanding and exposure to architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman
Experience/Capabilities required
7 years of experience in an IT-related role
2 years of experience in a similar role
Direct experience working in the financial services industry
Experience working within/alongside a formal SDLC
Experience in IT integration, SOA and related disciplines
Working knowledge of XSD and WSDL (web services)
Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and effectively in presentations, conversations and documentation.
Ability to use models and other techniques to succinctly communicate complex subjects
Experience/Capabilities desired
Experience working in a BPO environment
Experience in wealth management, superannuation or shareholder registry environments
Experience in messaging, data warehousing, BPM and document management domains.
Experience in an environment using WebSphere Message Broker, HP TRIM, TIBCO iProcess
Exposure to XBRL messaging standards
