Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking an IT Solutions Architect.
This is a contract opportunity beginning ASAP for 12 months (Option for 12 month extension).
For this Role you must be an Australian Citizen with an active high level security clearance.
Selection Criteria:
- Experience in managing and enhancing an existing virtualised development environment and artefacts, using VMware, including release management and co-ordination activities
- Experience migrating existing VMware Workstation based virtual machines to the new enterprise VMware vCloud solution
- Experience developing and maintain technical processes and documentation
- Experience working with infrastructure and network teams to ensure new functionality moves from Development to Test to Production to enable holistic software development
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of VMware; Workstation, ESX and vSphere, vCloud.
- Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server.
- Strong understanding of Windows Administration, including administrating networks, clusters/NLBs, DNS, DHCP, AD configuration, troubleshooting windows issues, patching, machine cloning, etc.
- Advanced PowerShell Scripting, eg Remoting, re-usable functions, WMI, Power CLI, etc.
