Description
Our client is seeking a WordPress Developer/Designer for a contract role, 3 months initially with potental for extension.
We are seeking applicants who possess the following:
- Administering or developing WordPress Sites;
- WordPress Plugin development;
- PHP and SQL;
- Existing HTML Standards emerging HTML5 Standards;
- Understanding of WC3 and WGAC2.0 principles;
- Web Services; and
- CSS and HTML Design Experience.
The successful candidate will be involved in the following:
- Design, develop and improve WordPress websites
- Work with software programmers, integrators, multimedia and web designers;
- Assist in implementing and supporting WordPress websites;
- Identify technical problems and procedures and communicate their applicable solutions;
- Document the use and maintenance of the WordPress solution;
- Ensure quality of products and services according to standards, processes and procedures;
- Perform various tests on products and services;
- Use high quality programming techniques to ensure a stable web environment; and
- Implementation and management of facilities to support the promotion of applications through the System Development life cycle environments.
