Description
Develop new (and support existing) applications predominantly in .NET and SharePoint.
Your skills with developing mobile applications including (but not limited to iPhone and Andoid) will be highly advantageous.
DUTIES:
- In conjunction with ADS managers, prioritise, analyse and complete tasks according to the nature and urgency of the request.
- Develop new, and support and maintain existing applications, in strict accordance with departmental change control procedures
- Maintain data and office security and system integrity in accordance with Departmental Security Instructions.
- Provide 1st through to 3rd level support for applications.
- Liaise with system administrators for application and implementation management.
- Ensure the tasks and progressive action history are recorded and concluded to the client's satisfaction.
- Other related tasks may be applicable as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least five years demonstrated ability in the development of solutions in Microsoft technologies with an understanding of:
- Mobile Applications including but not limited to iPhone and Android.
- HTML 5.
- Integrating Microsoft technologies.
- Custom ASP.NET development.
- Exposure to design, implementation and configuration using Visual Studio 2010 and TFS.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships and translate business requirements to technology solutions.
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Relevant Microsoft or tertiary certifications.
