Amoria Bond are currently searching for a Design Engineer. We are looking for a Design Engineer for contract based work in Surrey. The role is to start ASAP depending on the availability of the right person.
Our client is a UK based company who design & manufacture special purpose equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. They are renowned experts in their fields and are currently working on a number of large projects including a new product development project.
Applicants should have experience in the following:
You should ideally have at least 2 years Solidworks or Inventor experience however similar 3D CAD packages will be considered including Pro/Engineer Wildfire, CATIA, Unigraphics or SolidEdge.
Experience with designing products suitable for manufacture.
Experience in designing machined parts and from fabrications.
The day to day role will involve creative thinking as you will be working on the design of a new product. Following through the design process from concept through to production. You will be working with a variety of manufacturing methods and materials during the project, so a varied practical background would be desirable. You will be producing 3D models and 2D Drawings using Solidworks on a daily basis and contribute to the design of the product.
