ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Key Function #1: (A) Technical Support for Engineers - Auction Process
  • Create, maintain, and organize Aries economic databases for Minimum Bid/Notable sale properties.
  • Retrieve or update production and well data from Lasser, I.H.S. Energy or seller.
  • Occasionally perform engineering review of Minimum Bid property - "Straight-forward" PDP property, including documentation, presentation, and marketing of property.
  • Assist engineers with Expanded Data Book building.


(B) Technical Support - Negotiated Sales
  • Create, maintain, and organize Aries economic databases for evaluation of sales package; or if database provided by seller, organize and modify to run TOGAC version.
  • Retrieve or update production and well data from Lasser, I.H.S. Energy or seller.
  • Gather, tabulate, and organize technical data for sales brochure and data room.
  • Organize and prepare Aries databases and auxiliary files used in evaluation for Petroleum Place and to distribute to prospective buyers.

Key Function #2: Maintain Spreadsheets and Presentations for Ongoing Studies
  • Minimum Bid spreadsheet - Updated after each auction plus year end analysis. Data used in carious presentations.
  • Competitor Study - Same as Minimum Bid spreadsheet.
  • Other studies and analysis as needed.

Key Function #3: Provide Data and Support for Auction Process
  • Provide production plots, production tabular data, and sometimes create L.O.S spreadsheets for notable properties when not provided by seller to include in sales brochure.
  • Put together Minimum Bid properties' data packages for Land Department.
  • Provide zipped up Aries Economic databases for Minimum Bid properties to Petroleum Place and purchasers of expanded data books for each auction.
  • Organize and oversee data package files (data tubs) and expanded data books at auction site allowing bidders to examine files and take possession of files if successful bidder.
  • Receive and respond to calls from clients requesting technical data about auction properties.

Key Function #4: Miscellaneous Projects as Assigned
  • Provide spreadsheets and/or presentations for special projects, studies, or industry presentations.
  • Portfolio Analyses
  • Evaluate new software or applications
  • Maintenance of Aries databases and network drives

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL:

Broad based E & P exposure of at least 5 years. College degree or study a plus, but not required. Excellent communication and computer skills in spreadsheets, presentations, and database systems.

MOST IMPORTANT LEARNED JOB SKILLS:
  • Good computer skills
  • Good technical skills with basic understanding of engineering, geology, land
  • Good organizational skills, deadline driven. Multi-tasking.
