Description
Due to the changing needs of the business, we are now urgently seeking to recruit four experienced and resourceful Design Project Engineers to join the Technical Department, ideally from a flexible, batch manufacturing background. Candidates with knowledge of the offshore renewable industry or oil and gas would have a distinct advantage.Although you will be based on the projects team we are not looking for Project Engineers but Design Engineers that can manage projects from initial contact with client to delivery of the end product.
You must be proficient with 3D CAD packages ideally SolidWorks, however, we will consider candidates with Pro-Engineer & Inventor experience. You should also have prior experience with FEA.
Educated to degree level, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, component design experience and drawing for manufacture experience.
We are looking for Get up & go candidates, to be able to drive the design team forward. You will need to be very hands on and manage projects from concept to completion; be ambitious, tenacious and hard working.
