SQL Developer: SQL Developer is urgently required for a 6 month contract + extensions in Singapore.
The ideal SQL Developer will have a very good understanding of the software life cycle, testing skills, leadership:
- Design develop and test in-house and vendor solutions
- Assisting Business Analysts and Software Architects converting business requirements into system solutions.
- Assist with System Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Assist with User Training.
- Experience of major technology implementation projects.
- Strong on SQL, SQL Scripting, SQL Query & Performance Tuning
- Java/J2EE, Unix Scripting, XML
- Oracle.
- Core Java (JDK 1.4, 1.5 & 1.6), Hibernate, JPA (EJB 3.0) with Spring, Spring Beans & MVC 2.5, JDBC 2.1, JSP 2.1, SERVLETS 2.5, JMS, Web Services (SOAP & RESTful), XML (Parsers: DOM & SAX), XSD and XSLT. HTML, JavaScript, OS (Windows, Unix/Solaris, Linux).
- Able to meet tasks and milestones set by Line Manager in order to meet the expected 'go live' date.
- Able to be independent and ensuring that his/her own piece of work is done with zero tolerance on errors.
- Proactive and focused attitude.
- Should have strong analytical skills.
- Strong team-working spirit and good communication skills are required.
- Excellent knowledge of the SDLC in all aspects.
- Global outlook and ability to work independently in a complex environment.
