We are seeking Web/Mobile Developer for a 6 month+ contract position in Alpharetta, GA.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for enhancing, maintaining & supporting large scale, high visibility for the corporate employee Intranet/Portal and collaboration site on SharePoint 2010 platform. Developing custom applications/components where appropriate to support enterprise projects or leveraging use of Out Of The Box (OOTB) SharePoint features and functionality. Working with Business Analysts to design and develop capabilities that meet client business requirements. A broad knowledge of Web development tools and languages is required, including strong .NET skills and a moderate understanding of Java technologies. Maintaining current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for SharePoint solutions. Participate in the design process and assist in the overall solution architecture in collaboration with a dynamic team made up of business and system analysts, project managers and other developers.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in web & mobile development

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Deep experience in engineering and developing .NET C#, ASP .NET applications

  • Hands on exposure to relevant Web technologies including
    • 2+ years experience developing solutions using SharePoint Designer, MS Infopath, IIS, PowerShell Scripting, and MS Visual Studio 2010.
    • 2+ years Proficiency in SharePoint (SP2010) Site and Central Administration (configuring and managing SharePoint Services, site collection administration, site creation, feature configuration, etc.)
    • 4+ years HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Web Services, XML/XSL, CSS
    • 4+ years Web Servers like IIS and Apache
    • 4+ years Application Servers like .NET, WebLogic, WebSphere
    • 4+ years Operating Systems such as Windows as well as Linux/UNIX
    • 2+ years Content Management and Portal Systems
    • 2+ years Web 2.0 technologies such as RSS, Wikis, Blogs, Social Networking
    • 2+ years Databases such as SQL Server
    • 1+ years Integration technologies such as SQL Server Integration Services.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • General client-side web development is highly desirable such as skills with HTML, CSS, jQuery, RESTful services, and the SharePoint Client Object Model.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, software design patterns, and unit testing.
  • Partnering and collaborating with business teams in delivering projects
  • Demonstrated ability to capture and/or understand requirements through both customer interactions and technical analysis.
  • Ability to develop prototypes for technical solutions
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Security administration and maintenance
  • Hands on SharePoint Development experience creating SharePoint features and solutions including custom: content types, web parts, event receivers, workflows, and site templates
  • Ability to technically design and provide innovative solutions that map to the business requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint technologies and applications with a focus on using "out of the box" SharePoint functionalities with minimal customizations. This includes developing and maintaining SharePoint site collections, team, and collaboration and project sites using standard templates.
  • Ability to contribute knowledge, and mentor technical staff on SharePoint technologies.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience in quickly researching latest technologies and applying those to create solutions to solve real business problems from proof of concept to a stable production application
  • Demonstrated experience working in a "Buy" environment by utilizing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications and customizing them as opposed to building applications from scratch.
  • Ability to design, implement, debug and execute solutions that meets specifications.
  • Understanding and enforcement of technical quality (security, maintainability, performance, scalability etc.)
  • Proven ability, skills and desire to get involved at hands-on level for problem solving and troubleshooting emergency production situations
  • Proven experience with configuration and build management tools such as MS Team Foundation System
  • Demonstrated experience in over 2 enterprise level projects throughout the project SDLC
  • Experience in working with vendors to evaluate software
  • Any experience with Nintex workflows is a plus.
