On behalf of my Kerry based client I currently require the services of Security Head Analyst

The Role; As an Security Head Analyst you will be required to manage and fulfill information requests from regulators and internal/external auditors

Duties include:

  • Working closely with your Information Security colleagues and managing the flow of requests for data and information.
  • Working with relevant internal IT application, infrastructure and support teams to build appropriate secure data warehouse repositories to enable automated data extraction routines to simplify the fulfilment of requests.
  • Developing tools and techniques to validate and improve data quality prior to presenting requested data/information to the requestor.
  • Liaising closely with the internal compliance teams and Business Process Owners
  • Undertaking regular monitoring activities to ensure that the business is compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Development and implementation of independent monitoring techniques to ensure that endpoint and server security controls are working effectively.
  • Providing assurance to managers and your team about the effectiveness of protection tools and measures on information and IT systems.
  • Assist the CISO and ISO in controlling IT security related incidents and investigations to their successful conclusion.
  • Ensuring that Information Security compliance is implemented within Projects at key stages throughout the system development lifecycle

Skills Required:

  • Good working knowledge of IT tools and applications that allow development of custom data extraction and manipulation routines.
  • Experience of CAATs and tools such as ACL and/or IDEA
  • Knowledge of relevant Information Security regulatory requirements, codes and industry guidance, including a good knowledge of ISACA audit controls, Sarbanes Oxley controls, data protection, and financial regulations.
  • Experience in an IT Audit role preferably with a CISA qualification
  • Having understanding in IT related frameworks such as COBIT.
  • Good influencing, relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good communication and written skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work within stringent timeframes.
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
  • Strong team player.

Salary:

€58,000 + Package
