I have been asked to secure the services of a lead QA Test Engineer.
My client JRI- America, the specialised IT subsidiary of one of the world’s leading Financial Houses, SMBC . They are recruiting for a number of roles and have an immediate vacancy for a Lead QA Test Engineer
Role Specifics:
You will be based in Tralee. You will design build and support automated testing environments for multiple applications and collaborate with multiple teams around the world providing world class high quality services.
You should be familiar with manual and automated testing principals and processes.
Experience in Quick Test Pro, LoadRunner and HP Quality Center is highly desirable.
Experience working in a financial domain and knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA, ACH BACS etc would be very beneficial as would any formal testing certifications.
Skills Required:
We are looking primarily for experienced testers with the willingness to learn new systems and ability to working with remote test and development resources. The successful candidate should be comfortable dealing with both business and technical teams and have strong communication skills.
2-3 years of experience in the following:
- Hands on Test Automation Experience
- Experience of Quick test Pro, Load Runner and HP Quality Center
- An analytical approach and inquisitive mind
- Ability to communication (oral and written) clearly and accurately
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and retain knowledge
- Good time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised at times
Skills Desired:
- Familiarity with Atlassian SDLC tools such as Jira, Confluence,
- Bamboo, and Fisheye,Selenium
- Knowledge of Continuous integration and Agile development
- environments
- Experience testing web based applications
- Experience working in a financial domain
- Exposure to globally distributed development teams
