Based in Cambridge, an opportunity for an immediate Contract Embedded Software Engineer has become available with a leading wireless technology company on an initial 3 months. Key requirements:
Extensive 'C' coding and assembler experience
Scripting inTcl/Expect, Perl and Python highly desirable.
Understanding of debug techniques
Ability to understand both detailed s/w components and top level/system issues
Understanding of processor architectures and peripherals
Experience of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi
