Desired Skills / Experience
The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
* Consumer Business Industry knowledge (CPG, Retail and/or Wholesale and Logistics) and thought leadership in the BI domain.
* Strong product knowledge of SAP BI products and SAP BI Certification
* Business Objects knowledge (Including BI4, Data Services etc).
* Solid SAP Netweaver BI experience- this means that he/she has to have 5-6yrs experience with BW at recent releases and should be able to demonstrate mastery of: R/3 Extractors, DBconnect, Data modelling, Transformations, Process chains, Master data, Aggregates, Performance tuning, Query writing etc.
* Strong ABAP Development for BW.
* HANA Certification is desirable.
* 4+ project lifecycles with Blue chip clients i.e. FTSE 100 or Fortune 500.
* Understanding of Data Warehousing best practice.
* Team leadership and some project management experience.
* Good communication skills
* Effective problem-solving
* Strong intellectual capability (for example, a 2:1 degree or higher from a well-respected university or other equivalent)
