A key component of this reform is business process transformation enabled by implementation of a standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform based on SAP.
About the role:
The Data Stream/Migration Team Lead, with extensive data migration, data governance, and technical experience particularly from an ERP integration perspective within a range of prior significant ERP implementations, will provide independent, analytical, and strategic data analysis, leadership, and advice within the Transport ERP Program. This includes leading a team of data specialists working with the business and the data migration service partner as well as the system implementation partner.
The Data Migration Lead will be required to:
* Own and direct the analysis of master data requirements
* Guide the data migration from Legacy into SAP systems
* Evaluate, define and understand the 'as-is' data quality situation
* Construct data reference maps and relate master data elements between systems
* Define a master data governance approach for the target landscape
* Support the data archiving approach for systems to be phased out
* Provide information and guidance to Enterprise and Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and the Project Management team
* Understand various technologies, methodologies, tools, and principles enabling data migration
* Work with the integration team to ensure the interface design and implementation complies with the established strategies, processes and governance
* Work with the reporting team ensuring data is consistent across all systems including reporting systems
