Job Qualifications:

Expertise in the design and execution of health outcomes studies, including the writing of protocols and analytic plans for prospective and retrospective research methodologies. The application of decision analytic and health economic models for product value assessment and comparison. Development of professional relationships with customers, key opinion leaders and peers. Outstanding communications skills with a broad variety of audiences. Demonstrated strategic and conceptual skills to develop innovative approaches for demonstrating product value and differentiation.

Experience: Doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, statistics, health economics or a clinical discipline. Minimum 5 years in Outcomes Research/Health Economics experience either within industry and/or provider/payer organizations. Demonstrated applied research experience in conducting health economic, health related quality of life, and/or health services research studies. Experience in analyzing and collecting patient-reported outcomes and claims databases. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop product value propositions and direct key product initiatives that will ensure access for marketed products in managed care, formulary and payer decision making.
Optimize commercial access to all global launch products.
Align health economics and outcomes research strategies, timelines and budgets with medical affairs, marketing, managed markets teams, and with the public policy and global health economics and outcomes research groups. Projects will be prioritized to achieve effective utilization of resources; local strategy will be aligned to the objectives of the global team.
Align and direct the communication strategies, content and tools of product specific health economic and outcomes value propositions.

Develop, drive, and ensure adoption of effective market access strategies across the portfolio in all global markets.
