I am currently seeking a Mechanical design engineer with a Solidworks background for my Hampshire based client who specialise in electronic equipment mainly used within extreme environments;My client require a contract Mechanical Design Engineer to assist with an influx of projects with the following skill-set, background and knowledge in order to carry out the role with minimum supervision.
KEY SKILLS;-Knowledge of 3D CAD tools preferably Solidworks-Enclosure Design/Housing of electronics
-Knowledge of Material properties
-Thorough understanding of manufacturing methods including; Injection Moulding, Sand / Die Casting,
